“What is the best accounting software to use with Miracle Service?” is something we get asked a lot. The size and scope of your business should affect the accounting software you choose, but most of our customers use either QuickBooks (desktop) or QuickBooks Online, which runs in a browser. Both of these are great choices because QuickBooks is still a very popular app, and Miracle Service works very well with both of them.
It’s time to compare QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks (Desktop) in terms of this business.
Key Differences Between QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
Many of the basic features of both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online are the same. However, there are some differences between them that you need to know about to make sure the one you pick will work for your business.

Overall, the desktop version has a few more features than the mobile version, which means it can support more Miracle Service features. Here’s what makes them different:

In Miracle Service Administration, go to 9. Equipment & Contracts > Contract Templates Edit > Contract Tax Info > Use Contract Percent Tax. This will let you know if this feature is turned on for your service.
What QuickBooks Online with Miracle Service Can’t Do
If any of these problems with QuickBooks Online would make it hard for your business, we don’t think you should use it. We will keep adding to Miracle Service’s QuickBooks Online integration as Intuit keeps adding new features.
